ROG Phone 2 Game Genie Watermark after update

Rooted or not: Not
Frequency of Occurrence: Screenshots in game
APP Name & APP Version: Gamegenie
I noticed recently I was getting watermarks in my screenshots and checked on here to see it was an issue. However, it seems that they only started happening AFTER I got the update that was meant to fix them. I'd rather not deactivate Gamegenie if possible as it is a nice program asides from this issue.

They've tried to fix this like twice now on ROG 2. From what I've heard, the other ROG Phones also got this treatment.
