Damn still didn't worked, even with factory reset>upgrade to 11, nothing changed with the mic problems I had. I even saw a guide on youtube that I had to clear Bluetooth+Wifi settings and clear data in apps>bluetooth to reset all that completely, but I still have the same issue. So confused why external mics from headphones don't work on my ROG but they do on my other android devices...

ronald1985Sadly nothing changed on that either. I was experimenting also with changing AVRCP and MAP to older versions but nothing happened. I guess I will just give up on trying to have mic sound from headphones.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/199593#Comment_199593
Try this:
- Activate developer options
- Settings
- About Phone
- click on software information and then on build number 7 times, confirm
- go back to settings
- ... system
- ... advanced
- ... developer options
- Find [Bluetooth AVRCP-Version
- Change setting to 1.6
- Find [Bluetooth MAP-Version] (should be right below)
- Change setting to MAP 1.4
- Restart device

GeoGCGet your device logged from mods to check out your device if it really is software issue or something else.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/199596#Comment_199596
