Model Name: rog phone 2
Firmware Version: ww_17.0240.2009.47
fingerprint version and software version match. When I try to update manually, the update file is detected but the update fails.
Since the side input of my device is not working, I cannot connect to fastboot and load as raw. I can't root. all i can do is connect with adb.
damn software; "ww_17.0240.2009.47" is eating a lot of charge. please help me. i need to update the software or fix the charging problem

ronald1985I make you tired but forgive me. the whole update system is not working. I don't know what is the problem. I am willing to drop android 9 but there is no roomhttps://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/176896#Comment_176896
It is strange it didn't work. I would try the next one up from .49, which is WW-17.0240.2012.65.
If that doesn't work and you are in a hurry, if I were you, I would do a downgrade to Android 9 (this would do a clean install).
Upgrade each Android 10 updates and then perform a factory reset.
If you don't want to do this, then you have to wait for someone else if the next update up didn't work.

Ömür CanWhat do you mean no room? No storage? You can delete the downloaded firmwares. You just need to redownload them if you are OK with data. If not, if you have a PC, move the files there as you will need to make a backup anyway.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/176899#Comment_176899

ronald1985I'm sorry for my bad english. I didn't mean there was no place. it doesn't update either. I tried all versions. adb sideload in recovery path also doesn't work. Is there an alternative way to update? and the phone strangely sees edl. Can a custom recovery be installed with edl?https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/176905#Comment_176905

Ömür CanBefore you go down the custom ROM route, try downgrading to A9 which can be found on the same link. Then work your way up to A10 and do factory reset.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/176907#Comment_176907
