To be honest I just brought this phone 3 week ago. I can strongly say this device gaming is worst than my previous lg v30 which is snapdragon 835 aka msm8998 device. Frame drop, lagging, sudden reboot when overheat worst burn in and you name it. I thought this device is ads for powerful gaming yet is more worst than a 3 years old device. Worst case is preinstall asphalt 9 frame drop till 30fps yet my LG v30 stable 60fps.
The pros about this rog 2 phone is just 120hz and yet if the game support 120hz. Most game in playstore I can surely say not more than 10% of game support it. I updated to Android 10 and downgrade to Android 9 to be honest not much different like what other people say.
Game I play is call of duty , pubg , dead trigger, mobile legend, life after and few MMORPG game.
Hope the next update Asus will give us that so call promising gaming beast device. Not a empty promising.
