Bypass Charging for ROG 2?

Is there a chance that they will implement bypass charging for the ROG 2? I tested a friend's ROG 3 and the bypass charging feature is god-send in terms of reducing heat and lengthening battery lifespan.
Or is there any custom roms available that has the feature?

Sadly doubt we will get it. I'm not sure if our phones have the chip that allows it or if the devs want to support that feature.

It would be quite hard for custom roms to do this although doable I think.

I for one really would love this feature, it truly is a god send in terms of battery life and increasing the devices lifespan.
