all apps menu shows up while opening recent apps at homescreen (A10)

when i'm at homescreen, i swipe up from bottom to see recent apps but while i'm doing this, the all apps menu goes up too. have anyone experienced this problem?
i'm using gesture navigation and this problem never happened in A9
and one more thing. the always on panel has become darker than before. i have to face the phone in front of a flashlight then turn the screen off to force the always on panel show up at brightest condition

With Android 10, if you pull the recent app tray up only about an inch, you can get the functionality you're looking for. Once you go past about 50% the app tray completely.
