Bluetooth Audio Issues Asus ROG 9 Pro.

Hi all. I can't seem to figure out this issue and hoping that someone has info that can help.

I have multiple speakers. Normally the Asus phone works fine with devices. Lately I have been using the Logitech G560 speakers on Bluetooth mode. My old phone worked fine on this (S22+ ultra) and my tablet works fine as well (s9 tablet)

But whenever I connect my Asus ROG 9 Pro phone, the Audio is heavily reduced. I can't see to find the right setting to fix it . Its almost like dropped to 5% of volume capability compared to other devices.

Even if I turn up the speaker to max. I can barely hear it. Would love some help please. Otherwise this phone works great.

Cheers

Hello @zoeiem

I apologize for the inconvenience, could you please share some extra information with me?

I would need a screenshot of your AudioWizard settings and which firmware you are on.

You can find the firmware by going to Settings > System > About phone > Build number.

I think you should enable developer option and then choose APTX instead of SBC.

Hey — good to hear your phone works well otherwise. Just a quick tip that fixed a similar issue on my unit of the ROG Phone 9 Pro with my Bluetooth speaker:

  • Go to Settings → Audio & Bluetooth → Advanced Bluetooth settings, and check if Volume-limit or Absolute volume is switched off.
  • Also uninstall the speaker (forget device) then reconnect — sometimes it forces negotiation at low volume.

If nothing works, try reinstalling the firmware via the official appstore (or a trusted store like HappyMod if you use mods) in case the Bluetooth stack has a bug.
