Ar not working

I can't use AR functions in games, google ARCore in Play Store mentions this phone isn't supported, please fix

ROG Phone 9 pro edition should be able to run it

I have tested with the following games:
Pokemon Go
Monster Hunter Now
Animal Crossing Pocket Camp
Jurassic World Alive

However AR will never work as long as ARCore is not installed, in no game or application

All give the same error that AR does not work, or refuse to provide AR. Upon troubleshooting they link to ARCore in the play store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.ar.core&hl=en), resulting in a message this phone is not supported (see screenshot in opening post), further research shows this device is not on the compatibility list, as shared by google here: https://developers.google.com/ar/devices (it goes up to the 8 series)
