Security update is just by software updates from Asus, just search for a update if you can't trigger it you can try a VPN.

For Google play system its pushed by google, you press on on it ans it will search for patches and update it.

how to update from android 13 to 14?

also is it good to update it right now? I'm seeing a lot of post about the temperature rising, mine still on 13 but it feels hot already

What phone are you using. Because ROG 8 series launch with android 14 out of the box.

The latest Security update is for August 1, 2024 and the Google Play system update is October 1, 2024.

Do anything happen if you press the icons?
