No notification during gaming/youtube

I have problem with my ROG Phone 8 pro.

I have noticed that during gaming that people can reach me by call because i havent been notified. Same with chatting apps no notifications, no sound, no popup nothing. Firstly i thinked that will be bad setting in Game genie but no same problem persist with youtube also with Tapo cam app, but only in landscape mode.  When I  push down top bar i can see green phone icon - incoming call.

Any idea please?

Yes, the point of RoG is to get that automatic Do Not Disturb mode to come on when you are gaming. RoG also has Video Genie to do the same in video apps. I do not yet have a RoG, but look to Game Genie and Video Genie for settings like Do Not Disturb.

It is nothing to do with Game genie, i have tried multiple times to turn on/off calls and messages and if it is not turned to block calls still i dont get pop up that someone is calling me.

Let's cover the basics in the OS and GameGenie.

So on my OnePlus phone it has a manager called GameSpace. I do NOT need to open GameSpace to then launch games to get the benefits of Do Not Disturb. GameSpace is somewhat integrated into the OS so if I launch a game from the home screen, it applies GameSpace settings. My GS settings are to set Fnatic mode (kind of like RoG X-mode), to choose if Notifications are Heads Up (normal), Text Only (the popup has no background so less of screen is obscured), or Block (except calls 😞 ). Additionally has setting for mis-touch prevention.

I have GameSpace set to Block so that those notifications never show up. I do still get an icon in the status bar so I can see if a notification came in and check at a good time.

As for the OS, look at Settings and Notifications in case anything is weird. I'd also look at the app settings for Phone itself to be sure nothing is turned off. (My phone doesn't give a choice to disable "Phone" app notifications sadly.)

Thanks for nice post but that not solve my problem.

I have this phone since release so about a year, I never noticed such issue, i use game genie in dynamic settings and as i mentioned before i dont have allowed block incoming calls or messages. I have tried block calls, in that way person that call me has  occupied tone (and i am not disturbed)  in his phone. When i unblock calls in game genie i did not get any info on incoming call only if in that exact time i roll down top bar i see green call icon that indicate incoming call is on. This happening roughly like a month. I am not aware of that I changed anything in settings. Before it worked normally when incomed call just popped over game window same as message/viber/messenger etc.
