Google Pay / Wallet not working

I've recently bought ROG Phone 8 Pro

I can't setup contactless payment because Google Wallet page on Play Market says "Your device isn't compatible with this version"

I've read online that this might be because Asus didn't get security certificates for Google to enable Google Pay on this phone

Do you know how to get contactless payment working?

Just to double check, are you on the latest firmware? 34.1420.1420.173
You can find your firmware by going to Settings > System > About phone > Build number
