I'm in the US, but I use T-Mobile, not Verizon. I believe with Verizon, only certified devices can be used on their service even if it's BYOD.

Technically, it SHOULD work as it supports most of Verizon's bands (as long as you have the US model, not the Global model): https://www.kimovil.com/en/where-to-buy-asus-rog-phone-8-na

However, when I tried to setup a line for BYOD, the ROG Phone 8 wasn't an option after selecting Asus (in fact, only 3 phones were listed, none ROG). Then when I tried to enter my phone's IMEI, it said it wasn't compatible: https://www.verizon.com/sales/nextgen/byod/enterDeviceIMEI.html?line=newLine1&deviceCategory=Smartph...

Unfortunately, because it isn't certified by Verizon, it's either not going to work or not work fully. You'll need a different phone that's certified by Verizon, or switch to a different service provider if you want to use the ROG Phone 8.
