Why is Wi-FI 7 6ghz still not a thing?

My ROG phone 7 is still unable to connect to WIFI-7 6 GHz even though my country has enabled 6GHz wifi according to this:

I'm glad someone else says something about wifi7, I have the ROG phone 8 and 9 and neither lets me connect to wifi7, it appears in the list of networks but when I connect it goes from wifi7 to 6

Yeah, it doesn't make much sense to me why my phone is still locked from accessing 6 GHz (Wi-FI 7) from my TP-Link BE805 router that I got from my ISP, which is fully capable of supporting the 6 GHz band.

Especially when ROG phone 7, 8 or even 9 had the hardware capable of supporting it. Can we get someone from the Asus ROG phone team to address this issue? Much appreciated.

It's been 2 years man, since SG approved 6ghz wifi 6e and probably wifi 7.
