Seen a lot of posts about it with no solutions or updates from Asus. I currently have a ROG 7 Ultimate and have figured out a workaround to get notification reminders using a app called "To Do Reminder with Alarm" by "App Innovation". It can be set to repeat a notification every minute which then triggers the ROG vision screen.
Not perfect but ideal if Asus never provides this feature themselves
