@JimiK , I really have no idea what they have done on android 14 that's causing our devices overheat dramatically. I used to play COD on android 13 and temperature never went more than 31 C.

Same here and the A13 system had no problems and the games worked great. I have another phone "Nothing phone 1" and I installed the A14 system on it a while ago and it also started overheating and the performance suffered. But I contacted their customer service and in less than half an hour I received the downgrade file for the A13 system in my email and the problems disappeared. Asus should take their example and give us the option to downgrade to the A13 system.

Then I guess android 14 is messed up on all devices. The other day , I told the exact same thing to @Mattias_ASUS and he said he has heard some service centers may downgrade it. Asus should give us an option too as we are all suffering from numerous issues on Android 14.

@Mattias_ASUS would you please pass our words to the dev team so we can downgrade ROG phone 7 manually.

Totally agree with this comment.

I have not yet updated to version .70, however I am very sorry to read that the phone's overheating and performance problems still persist.

I join the request to downgrade the A14 version and return to A13.

@Mattias_ASUS  I know you read us and we appeal to your good judgment, we cannot continue with these problems, the updates do not solve them in their entirety. Please talk to the developers to implement downgrade software.
