Been using my brand new ROG phone 7 (ASUS_AI2205_E) for a week now. I am noticing a few bluetooth / connectivity issues:
1. The bluetooth does not seem to disconnect from my car when I get out. My car says it is not connected to my phone, but on the phone, it still says it is connected to the car. This is somewhat a pain because some apps, such as google maps assume I am still in my car and switches to drive mode.
2. I also noticed that just when I get out of my car (around the time when my bluetooth should ideally disconnect), my phone seems to get unresponsive and apps might crash. One time, the screen froze and I could not even pull down the notification tray, and I had to manually restart. One other time, the phone had auto restarted.
Wondering if anyone else has noticed these...

@jwyles / @Mattias_ASUS .. I posted this on another thread : I switched my launcher from ROG UI to something else (smart launcher 6) and my phone has been stable for the last 2-3 days now. Bluetooth still stays connected - but it doesn't seem to cause the phone to freeze like it used to, after I changed the launcher.

@xslogicI appreciate your response, I was using Nova when I had my issues. I wonder if it's something in Smart Launcher or more of a coincidence. I did get my bluetooth to be stable for a bit after a reset and that log switch, but after I loaded my contacts and apps back on, including Nova, it had the same problems.
I was thinking the issue was in the push from the phone to the device, in my case the problem always seemed to occur after it attempted to download contacts into my vehicle. When the phone was reset, there were no contacts except for 1 test contact I created.

@jwyles ah yes .. I missed mentioning one other thing : I had also switched the default phone app to the stock android phone. I had noticed that the asus / rog phone app also getting stuck retrieving the call logs. It could be the combination of the phone and launcher changes as well.

Im having issues getting my Asus ROG 7 to work through my audio system in my truck. It connects and disconnects ok so far and plays music, but answering phone calls causes trouble. When ever I answer a call the first few seconds are fine, but then you can no longer hear the person you are talking to, and they cannot hear you. It's like they ALMOST complete fade out like the volume is dropped to the lowest level without being on mute. The phone also fails to even find a few of my Bluetooth devices. It will pick up every GPS, headset and laptop around me, but it will not recognize either of my Shokz OpenComm headsets or my Kove model 101 headphones. Ive tried factory reset and installed all the updates available.
