Android 15 observations for ROG Phone 7

Hello Good Day Everyone!

This was my observations for the 1st week after updating from android 14 to 15

1) Phone Sustained Temperature (Its better than A14 it slowly goes up now compared to the A14)
Game: Genshin Impact (Max Settings doesnt matter... really even if in low it will reach the max temp eventually just slowly) Using Scenario Profile
Min Temp: 35 average (idle)
Max Temp: 46 average (gaming)
Room Temp: 33 average
Without Cooler
Duration: 2-3 Hours average (note this in advance setting using official scenario profile)
Battery: 100% to 50% (average battery percentage left after a week with adaptive battery setting)
2) Fast UI transition/navigation (everything is buttery smooth)
3) Sound Quality is the same for me much better than previous versions (this is after reformatting the device after the update)
4) When opening applications/ gaming , it STUTTERS (Tried other games and its stuttering HSR, Azur Lane, CODm,) or hopefully its just the game's optimization on android 15 (please confirm this guys by replying)
5) Gaming Performance is Good (Maybe for me because im using the official scenario profile) refer on number 4
6) Air Triggers are working normally
7) Wifi or Mobile Data connection - getting a wifi signal is difficult and also the mobile data reception is weak... my Redmi Note 11s 5G detects a 5G connection from the same SIM card while in ROG7 its just 4G

On wifi it disconnects frequently even if the distance is not that far

10) no new wallpaper or themes

idk if it's the audiowizard but ever since I updated the app that's when the sound issue started.

Hi would like to confirm if after 3 weeks if there is any issue with the update. I read someone posted there was NFC issue and would like to know if a restrart or anything did fix it after the A15 upgrade. I am highly dependable on Google Pay, reader tagging etc. And would also like to know how is the FPS for gaming as well for Genshin, HSR and WUWA if anyone did recently test it. Thank You

This update is a disaster for Game Genie, the key mapping no longer works, I have to reset everything every time I launch the app. The keys to move my camera don't Doesn't work. Same for virtual joysticks. If you have a solution other than deleting Game Genie data every time I want to play, I'm all ears.

Sorry for the late reply. Ever since I stalling Android 15 for me at least. This is what I have noticed from my end upon using it until now. Please not that the only games so far that I have tested on for the last 2 weeks up till today are Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero.

i) Based on gaming and normal day uses, I have noticed that the battery drain is more compared to when we were on the final A14 update. 

ii) Upon the completion of the update for day 1, I noticed that the games HSR and zzz stutters abit which after a reboot ran okay until now. Tho I'm still testing it still until today.

iii) As for the NFC, so far I have not come across any issue and it's working like normal

iv) For game genie based on what you have said, unfortunately I have not come across this issue so I'm not sure how or to try and see on the issue that you are facing as the game genie and I can't confirm for virtual joysticks. However I can confirm that the air triggers are working on my end. 

This is all I have for now after 2 weeks on A15 and if I do come across more, I will share my findings with you all.
