Hello, I've just installed android 16, the phone was very fast in the reboot and this was already a bit suspicious. After using the phone for a bit, I've noticed nothing changed from android 15, but literally, nothing. Rog UI should be similar to android stock, which got many aesthetic and animations improvements with android 16 update, but here they are completely absent. So are we sure the developers worked on something or what?
If I'm wrong, I would be grateful if someone can provide me what exactly changed from android 15, because I feel like we're being fooled 😅

You're not the only one noticing this. Android 16 on ROG phones feels almost identical to Android 15 because most of the changes are under-the-hood rather than visual. ASUS didn’t adopt many of the new animations or UI tweaks you see in stock Android, so the interface stays pretty much the same.
From what’s documented so far, the update mainly includes stability improvements, security patches, better background process handling, and minor performance tuning. But visually? Yeah almost nothing noticeable. Hopefully ASUS rolls out more of the promised UI changes in a later patch, because right now it really feels like a small update packaged as a big one.

Like, I was at least expecting the background blur effect when using notification panel, multitasking or in apps section, but nothing, the background still become grey/black, it all feels like having android 12 tbh 😂
