After firmware version 217 there is no update in the website.

I am wondering why there is no update firmware in the website after 217 firmware.

Can anyone please share information on this topic?

This is because the device you have is tencent edition(CN Version) flashed with WW rom and sold as Global version. Asus update provider server doesnt connect to these devices.

When devs upload new firmware in the website then you will be able to download and upgrade the firmware.  

N.B - No estimated time of arrival 

till then stick to (.217) firmware.

speaking for myself I downloaded root checker it came back negative so mine should be the global version.. whats your way of checking edition?

mine is also negative..root checker app basically checks if your device is rooted or not....

To flash a stock rom you dont need root..

If you are not getting update through "System Update", It means 99% your device is tencent version flashed with global rom..that 1% you have to PM any mod here by providing the serial number of your device and they will check again.

You need to clean app cache and appfiles from system update app

Then start update again
