Achieve material you/Forced monochrome scheme

I like customizing my phone and the material you scheme is one of my favorites.

I come from a phone with a ROM that allowed you to activate the android flag  force monochrome that made all icons adhere to the material you, even those that didn't support it. Specially those that didn't support it. I want to achieve this effect without having to do something like rooting the phone.

I wanted to ask if there is a way to achieve this effect in the Asus UI? Or if I could request the feature to be added. It is already baked into android, it would just have to be made available and visible to the user.

Material You is supported but for the unsupported apps I would use something like Shortcut Maker and just change the icons, that way you can still have the Native UI and your own icons
