Ultra wide camera (below 1x) is not functional

Hello, 

I am encountering an issue where the ultra wide camera is not functional. 

Everytime I want to zoom out from 1x to let's say 0.6x, the camera app stops working.

Is there a fix for this issue? I already restarted all camera settings, removed app data and cache, restarted the phone.

Which firmware version are you using?

There could be an issue with the camera module itself, you can do a SMMI test to check if the module is working as intended, to do this you have to go to the calculator app and then type: ".12345+=" do a single test and test your rear cameras, if the test fails then I do recommend reaching out to your closest ASUS Service Center.
