The support period for the ROG Phone 6 has ended, and no more security updates are planned.

i thought ROG phone have long support now i realize they the same regular 

WHY LONG TERM SUPPORT WHEN YOU CAN MAKE FAN USER BUY NEW ONE WITH EVERY 2 YEAR  

NOW THERE 2 BRAND I WONT BUY
1 .NEVER BUY APPLE PRODUCT AFTER 2012 
2. NEVER BUY ASUS PHONE AFTER 2024

That is correct, 2 years of OS updates and 2 years of security updates.
From the ROG Phone 8 and forward its 4 years of security updates.
