ROG6 After 197 update charge 55-60min instead of 42min advertized

Frequency of Occurrence: yes
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): charging


after 197 update phone charge slower
its adverdized 42 minutes now its charges same as rog 5 55 minutes
phone barly warm now
before its was hoter and charged in 46min from 0%
now from 10% to 100% 55min
@Mattias_ASUS if temps ok why reduce charging speed?
any new about apps with blue android logo and clock offset in hebrew
if needed i buy wattmeter and show video

especicaly when asus reduce the speed like xiaomi but they reduce to every one and not depend on the heat of the device

They are trying to workaround phones shutting themselves down and potentially dying. It's ok, youll see more nerfs until they got the damage under control so people cannot claim warranty and need to pay for repair.

they reduced too much this is my point even iphone get warmer with 27W then asus 65W
asus is cool as i can say its better yes but if phone cool i want all the 65W
@Mattias_ASUS can you report this to team to make toggle enable disable hypercharge65
who want their phone heatup and charge faster then its his choose
i dont want have 65W brick and charge at 30-45W

I agree with you on this last point, the ROG5 discussion is a cemetery and the others a wasteland, impossible to confuse them with a playground 😓

here is the charging test on 216 firmware took 46min from 1%
xiaomi 11t pro also nerfed from 18-19 min to 23-25 min on 120W
