ROG Phone 6 Pro Hotspot is not working

I have attempted both wifi 5 and 6, but, on my iphone 5s and iphone 12 pro I get "No internet connection" after connecting to the hotspot.
I have restarted all devices and that has not helped either. Regular wifi works fine on both iphones.

Does your phone plan support hotspot? Who is your carrier?

Well seen, hey yes, almost in 2023 and there are still operators where the use of the HotSpot is blocked.
The name and country of the operator are not enough to know if this is the cause, in many cases the same operator can offer packages with tethering activated or to be activated and others or it is not possible.
Note: the access point's ON/OFF switch does not depend on the operator/package, so we can have it ON but the modem data is blocked by the operator, as in your case
Otherwise, there is a Bug on the ROG6 which I believe is not fixed, the access point works but disconnects the devices when it goes to sleep, so it does not seem to be your case.

I just tried hotspot as well and my devices connect but can't get Internet access. I do know for a fact it's enabled from my carrier. So the issue is wide spread

returns a Bug on the DNS or gateway when it is an access point so, I see that but it's so huge, a feature that has worked for several decades, it's really only at ASUS that we can fall on such a bug🙄
