Unable to place widgets on custom launchers A12

Model Name: ROG 5s
Firmware Version:1226.77
Rooted or not:no
Frequency of Occurrence:Always
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app):Lawnchair 2, Nova Launcher
After upgrading to a12 from 11 i was facing issues with the quick settings having unusual hitboxes and was advised to factory reset. Post resetting im now facing issues with being unable to place widgets on third party launchers, and am met with the settings has crashed error

Yeah I too facing the same issue. I can't place widgets on any launcher except stock one.
