Unable to make and receive calls

Firmware Version: 17.0823.2012.122
Rooted or not: Not
Frequency of Occurrence: Intermittent
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app):
In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.

I am unable to make or receive phone calls intermittently.
When someone calls me, they cannot get through.
When I try to dial out, the phone says dialing but it doesnt work.
I have to restart my phone to allow it to work, however, it will fail within a day again.
Take note that VOLTE is no enabled/available for my Carrier.
Please assist.

If this cant be fixed, please let me know where i can get a refund as this is a failure of the basic function of the phone.

Same problem here. But on 5g network.

1. After updated this Firmware Version: 17.0823.2012.122, phone unable to call and receive calls. On 5g network.
2. Before that, on 5g network all working well.
3. Had to reset network settings to 4g and reboot to at least you can call and receive.
4. Now stuck at 4g network. If 5g - mobile data all working but the most basic phone calls not working.
5. Anyone has this experience?

Can't even do voice call on 4G...

My issue before was I couldnt't hear anyone when someone called me, I had to call them back. A factory data reset helped me fix the issue. Try doin a reset and see if it helps.

If you can't dial out or receive calls....It's probably an issue with 3G wherever you are. Exactly why ASUS needs to add VoLTE like every other phone manufacturer. This phone has so many issues for me as well, to do with phone calls. I've switched back to my Huawei just to continue receiving and making calls that i can understand. For me it's bluetooth quality, which is fine on my 2 other phones, but this ROG3, it's garble half the time.

If this is the case, then someone from Asus must reply to this thread and give a proper reply.
This is Asus flagship phone not some budget mobile phone. basic stuff like this should have already been planned for.

So how do I get the attention from anyone who is from Asus here?
