Does anyone know if these type c ports support a type c to type c connection for transfer of video data? I want to mirror the screen onto a portable monitor. Currently, it does not work on my setup and I want to make sure these ports support this feature before I look for other problems. Thanks.

It should work without any problem but as
@Gustav_ASUS said , you need to use side port and also a compatible cable
Cable comes in box should work just fine and if you are using any other cable than make sure its usb3.1 gen 2 and/or display port 1.4 supported
