ROG 3 suffers from heavy black crush issue

I have brought device August 12 ,2020 through flipkart first sale at 6auhust. I was very happy until i open netflix ,it has vert bad black crush issue even at full brightness ,in 50pecent brightness colour washed out heavy black crush issue is this hardware or software issue??anyway im just gonna refund ....but i asked some of YouTubers they have none issue ,but for fellow customers only have this😓. I decided to live with this but some of units have no issue why i wanna live with this issue for years so i try to get refund and but 12gb varient.
In YouTube crush issue is little low when compared to netflix and amazon prime ,rather than that this dev is beast 😍
I have noticed heat in aero active coller side(40°to43°) always while playing pupg at 90hz,balanced,extream . although I'm staying in AC room 22°c all time!

I think this issue is related to refresh rate. If I force 144Hz, it is worse, but as I reduce the refresh rate, this issue sort of goes away. If you put in adaptive screen refresh, I don't notice it anymore.
Its still bad, I don't expect so many issues with a premium flagship product. This is not acceptable, when is Asus fixing this?

Here is an explanation as to why black crush is happening and how Asus can fix it. It also explains how this is NOT a hardware defect even with an example.

I hope this will clearify a great deal and that you guys need to stop spreading weird nonsense like its caused by high refreshrate screens, hardware defect or that asus cheaped out on displays. Just chill a little bit and let asus fix it, and Asus you need to stop the hotfixes, it's seriously doing more damage than good.

Hope to see much less black crush topics as it's really getting old by now.

I even saw comments that people would take a 60hz OLED over 144hz ips smh

And as for the OLED issues I'm pretty sure you'd see similar questions/remarks on other OEM forums

I don't much about OLED and IPS but this looks pretty bad when you see it every morning. It looks like bad TN panel backlight bleeding.

Changing the refresh rate seems to make it better. The ROG Phone 3 has so many issues no flagship should have.

Chaging refreshrate changes gamma slightly. This is normal even on gaming monitors, the cause is still shifting gamma levels NOT refreshrate.
Also disagree with many issues no flaghip should have, only real issue is black crush, other than that most issues are user caused. Not to mention flagships always have kinks. OP8 pro black crush, Samsunsg camera glass breaking, Samsung battery drain (even older models still have this and NEVER get fixed) etc.
