========================================
I have brought device August 12 ,2020 through flipkart first sale at 6auhust. I was very happy until i open netflix ,it has vert bad black crush issue even at full brightness ,in 50pecent brightness colour washed out heavy black crush issue is this hardware or software issue??anyway im just gonna refund ....but i asked some of YouTubers they have none issue ,but for fellow customers only have this😓. I decided to live with this but some of units have no issue why i wanna live with this issue for years so i try to get refund and but 12gb varient.
In YouTube crush issue is little low when compared to netflix and amazon prime ,rather than that this dev is beast 😍
I have noticed heat in aero active coller side(40°to43°) always while playing pupg at 90hz,balanced,extream . although I'm staying in AC room 22°c all time!

AveranIt might be. But this is extreme in Rog phone. I have a Samsung galaxy S10 and that display is not showing like this.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/105275#Comment_105275
That's not black crush that's smearing which is an inherent property of oleds
It's like that because OLED displays turns off the pixels for blacks and it takes a few milliseconds to turn them back on
This happens on every OLED panel out there including iphones

EDIT: Compared with my oneplus 6, the grays seem to be fine, the op6 actually has more red tint than rog 3, however, at 90Hz and 144Hz there's a great difference the the tint on greys on rog phone 3, whichever one is more accurate.

maximumsidDude , that's not even a issue its common for high refresh rate panel !Do you guys notice a red tint in the greys and a very slight reduction in contrast when changing from 90 to 120 and 144Hz? It's an issue present on my device.
