Hi I will like to ask around did anyone face auto shutdown after the updates of the lastest firmware and android 11, before the update my phone never auto shut down. After the updates it seem like the phone will auto shutdown quite frequently even without me using it

Never happened to me with A11 but the longest I have it a try was a week.back to 10 for third time!

That happen because your device overheat
A11 have some mechanism where it will shutdown your phone when it's overheat
You can try to set your thermal limit to high and see if this problem still happen

Yes , its a safety measures to prevent phone from dying but theres something wrong with his device

That's not correct

I play on 52c very often,and I've never faced shutdown or throttling

His IC chip is just very damaged and close to death so that's why his phone shuts down

Well theres a high possibility that what you are saying is false

There are major chances that his device is overheating and getting shutdown just like rog 2 and he just have to do one thing which is just remove back panel and repast the thermalpaste with high quality thermal compound like kryonaut or cooler master mastergel or something on same level , you can do it yourself or just go to local shops and tell them to do it and i am assuming that you are out of warranty coz if not , just go to SC
If that doesn't fix the issue than theres something else going on

Interesting,his ambient temps must be pretty damn high to make the phone just turn off from heat,I've played under the sun during summer and still it didn't turn off

He should go to the service Center and get it checked,maybe the thermal paste is not of the highest quality or his ic chip is damaged

Actually the shutdown or restart issue we both talked about doesn't make sense here coz his device isn't turning off and i also got mistaken
This is something screen or software issue and not SOC
