Poor screen performance for Black and Grey Colours

The screen performance when viewing the low light colours is very poor.
Low light pictures result in a patchy and broken colours. This specially happens with Black and Grey Colours.
My observation: Has something to do with the Screen refresh rate or the HDR functionality.

Well known issue, also known as black crush. Asus had all but given up, it'll never get fixed now as Rog 5 is on the way and support for Rog 3 has been put on the backburner a bit.
It's not as bad as many people here throw fits about, it'll be my first and only Asus phone though simply because the lack of support is absolutely unacceptable.
Try fiddle around with the Splendid in Display.
