Phone stuck in reboot loop

The issue the phone is stuck in a reboot loop. As soon as I put in my code to unlock it and it tries to load my apps the phone crashes and starts the reboot again. I am able to boot into safe mode and I did try a factory reset initated through safe mode but after completing the initial set up when you try to get to the home page it starts the cycle all over again. All help is greatly appreciated.

I got the issue resolved so I figure it would be wise to leave how it got resolved here for others to try in case they are faced with the same situation. I called Asus support and the first thing they had me try was to turn off the phone completely and then press the power button and the volume DOWN button at the same time and leave them pressed for like a minute. I believe they had me do it for 30 seconds although I would do it a full minute just to be safe. You will see the phone go through boot up and reboot cycles back to back to back to back consistently. When you finally let go it will boot up. My phone actually rebooted by itself making me think the issue was still there but when it came back it it stayed up.

No They didn't say and you're right I shoulda asked. I was just so ecstatic that I got my phone back that it slipped my mind. This phone is by far the best phone I have ever owned. The battery life in phenomenal. A great travel phone and I can't wait to start traveling again.

The cause is mostly an software error, this happened to me first day I got the phone I accidentally interrupt phone update then it goes reboot stuck I fixed it with same method.
