Pandora auto-closing

Hi! So, I had gotten a Google Play system update today. After I rebooted my phone for the update, I'm having issues with using Pandora (my preferred music service). If I pause the music for a couple of minutes (which is frequent, since I listen to music while working), it causes the app to shut down.

This wasn't happening prior to this update. Any idea what's causing it? Or what could be done to fix it?

Pandora auto-closing

Battery Optimization and detect battery drain + stop, both in the battery menu comes to mind first. Ensure you do not optimize the app for battery use and don't enable closing the app when detecting battery drain for the app.

Alright, disabling battery optimization for Pandora seems to have fixed it for me. Strange that this wasn't an issue before this update... Ah well, no big deal. Thanks!

System settings -> Battery -> Battery Optimization. Select the app you want to disable optimization for and select "Don't Optimize".
