How can I fix color banding issue myself non root and also get pure deep blacks.

As far as I'm aware, the only way to fix it yourself is to unlock the bootloader (not the same as root) and install a custom kernel. I'm not sure if there are any publicly available custom kernels that fix this, but if there are, doing so will likely void your warranty (if you have one).
