rinzler_abhishe
Star III
Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
Model Name: ASUS ROG Phone 3
Firmware Version: Not listed in Settings -> About -> model and hardware
Rooted or not: Not Rooted
Frequency of Occurrence: Multiple times
APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app): armoury crate, game genie, whatsapp, YouTube
In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.
========================================
I have previously addressed this to a moderator of Zentalks, (Gustav_ASUS). It has been more than 2 weeks now, but still the issue hasn't been resolved. I would like to complain this and take this matter with someone having authority.
The issues I am talking about are addressed below.
Live streaming feature is not working, and whenever I clicked on it, it shows the error "Network Conenction Failed. Stop Recording.". For this, I restarted my phone, checked if my net is working properly, reset the phone. It's still not working properly.
Black crush issue. You can see this issue for yourselves when something dark comes onto your screen. Like when you are watching something on Netflix or YouTube, you can see the distortion properly.
I am a competitive player for CODM (Call of Duty Mobile), and sometimes when I play the game, the game crashes. It always happens when I increase the screen resolution from 60Hz to 144Hz. Sometimes, the game lags a lot and I have to restart the device for it.
I still haven't got a reply from GUSTAV_ASUS for the previous discussion, wherein I highlighted all the issues. If this is the way you guys offer your products and assistance, then don't sell gaming phones and claim to be one of the best in the gaming industry.
I thought for 50K this phone will be worth it, but I am having second thoughts on it now. I want to talk with an executive and have a complain filed for this.ASUS has been selling a substandard and second-rate device, and claim to be one of the best gaming phones in the gaming industry.

I am really sad to say that I have not enjoyed this experience with this product and I demand to talk to an executive and resolve these issues.

Good lord reading comments from ignorant people knowing jack shit always turns my head around. So let's try to disect this mental vomit and try to clearify for everyone here whats actually worth anything and whats simply just typical braindead user complaints.
@rinzler.abhishek
1.) So the first complaint about streaming has more than likely everything to do with youtube's API. If you want to complain about that go to youtube and complain there.
2.) This is caused by pixelworks garbage software which is completely binary, even the calibration is binary and has some sort of signing as well. Modifying the binary files will cause the system to not boot anymore and preventing the pixelworks service to run will cause a black screen. I've already looked into it and the black crush is something ASUS cannot do ANYTHING about. ASUS is completely at Pixelworks mercy at this point.
3.) Playing COD while using 160hz and no problem. It's something specific to your unit.
Also just shut the fk up about you being a dev etc. you clearly have not the singlest shred of a clue what you're talking about. If you had the slightest idea what you're talking about you would'nt lock out so much nonsense from your mouth and would know that the issues you're talking about mostly are caused by 3rd parties or your specific device.
Not to mention you're COMPLETELY oblivious about the INSANE thermal throttling from Iphones since the Iphone X, is absolutely pathethic. Genchin impact in Iphone 12 is borderline UNPLAYABLE. Goes to show how much shit you're letting out.
@Aman89053
While I do understand your dissapointment, the real problem is the Asian market fking everyone over. Many of these issues here on the forums are not caused by ASUS but some dumbfk reseller wanting to make some quick bucks and selling chinese phones with WW roms on them causing issues left and right.

@Ogghy
As mentioned above, read. ASUS has purchased a high quality display only for it to be completely buttfked by Pixelworks. Your complaint is like you purchasing cheap tires for a car that will explode and then blame the car manufacturer for it. Ridicolous.

@Swadesh
Where you from? Is that the tencent or global version?

Well.. It helps being an actual developer who has rooted his phone to finally take a look into the problem. But seriously, calkibration as a binary file, what the actual fk.

Listen man, I think you should read my threads properly and mind your language. I mentioned multiple people having the same issues, and it is not my specific device. Secondly, even without the third party apps, it lags and shuts down. So if you have a solution for this, then you can talk about it. As @Swadesh mentioned, even if it affects 1% of the users, it is still a problem that needs immediate attention. Also I am an app developer, a RedHat Certified Architect for Ansible automation and server hardening and a network admin (I don't know if you know redhat also, but you can verify my credentials) . I am sorry to say but rooting one's phone and then calling yourself a developer says shit about you lol.
So seriously, if you have any suggestions, I would love to hear them. But if you don't have a solution, and rather mention unnecessary things and don't even control your language(maybe your upbringing had something to do with this, dunno but don't go swearing in other threads ), then don't comment.

I did read your nonsense properly. And claiming things left and right without a shred of evidence deserves nothing but harsh language. Also you're repeating the same mental vomit again in which I already explained why people have same issues on these forums. Learn to read my response and you'll start noticing a pattern.
As for your claim about being a dev, actions speak louder than words. You have on multiple instances splendidly showcased you don't have a shred of a clue. So even if you are "RedHat certified" then all you have proven is that the certificate means nothing.
So instead of showcase your absolute incompetence I'd suggest you start learn to read properly and start to understand what people with actual knowledge tell you so you can stop spreading absolute nonsense.
