Future updates for the ROG 3

Hello, I have a question for the ROG 3 system update and security updates.
I have seen in different posts and websites about the fact that ASUS policy only gives system and security updates for 2 years, and after those 2 years the phone usually gets left behind, is it true? or do they keep giving some updates from time to time.
Would love to get a good answer for that.

I've been wondering how much it would cost for a developer to make a good ROM, and I figured I'm willing to collectively contribute to that.

Depends on the dev, the more competent the dev, the less time it needs. Sadly in the Rog3 section we dont have many devs that are experienced. We dont have a single rom that has implemented the RogUI properly, however xiaomi open source devs implemented an actual functioning rogUI in their phones, this goes to show that the issue wasnt the actual features themselves but the experience of the ROM creators. I didnt know about this until recently.
I think If A14 will be worth it or a serious security vulnurabilty is being detected while I still own the Rog3, I'll be making a ROM for the Rog3.

I was very happy at the beginning to learn that you're gonna make a new ROM which probably will come out as a really good one, but, then I recalled that I had shared my s0c id with u over discord literally 6-7 months back and still haven't received my copy of the kernel. 🙂

Try bliss rom they have A13 for Rog 3 except asus specific features

Same here. Anyways, I no longer wish for kernel or Rom as I'll be switching to other phone (after s23 launch & comparison with iPhone). These companies need to understand that people, at least Indians, buy phones to last longer for 4-5 years but they want us to change the phone every year. So, it's better to spend some more money but be carefree for 4+ years.
