So it makes me think that the camera is badly "calibrated" at the factory, or, the wide angle is designed for close-up photos, and for distant photos we have to use the panoramic mode.

There is no focus as I said. I don't think its a hardware issue. It's probably some kind of software issue I think. Have you tried 3rd party software and see if they also do the same behaviour on the ultrawide?

With Gcam it is the same. Even more, it is not necessary to take the photo, seeing the images directly from the camera, it looks blurry as if it were out of focus, but only from a distance as I mentioned, close up it looks good.
