Have you tried 3rd party software and see if they also do the same behaviour on the ultrawide?I have tried many photos, and they all look bad at long distance, regardless of the light. On the other hand, the closer you take the photo, the better it looks, and very close the blur completely disappears. So it makes me think that the camera is badly "calibrated" at the factory, or, the wide angle is designed for close-up photos, and for distant photos we have to use the panoramic mode.
