Edmund CPNHe doesnt need to be from the asus team to apply basic knowlegde.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/142954#Comment_142954
First of all, you are not the ASUS staff and that's just your opinion. I know need take some time to power the display, but it does not take around 10 min to power on the screen and see it is charging and the battery is 0%. When battery die, normally you just plug in the charger, and the phone will immediately boot to the charging screen and it will show "charging at 0%". I don't know how many phone you use before, but every phone I use all work like this. If you telling me it is normal to wait 10min to see the screen when my phone battery die, ASUS has some serious problem when develop this phone.
By the way, please click the link and see the other guy with the same issue. Please do let me know many phone do you used before and what phone are you using right now.

nightmaster552So you telling me when you power on any device while plugged in the charger, it will take 10 min to boot up? Do you know what is basic knowledge? Basic knowledge is when you plugged in the charger, the phone will boot up immediately. I don't know what kind of second rated phone you guys used before, but I can ensure you that the phone will boot up when plugged in the charger. If you think wait 10 min to boot up the phone is normal, then that is your opinion, please don't apply your "basic knowledge" on me. This phone is the most expensive phone I bought ever and it have the latest technology, it should not require 10 min to boot up when battery die while plugged in the charger, it does not even happened on the shitty ass phone I have before. Don't say 10 min, even 5 min also is not acceptable.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/142959#Comment_142959

Batteries need a certain amount of voltage to power on parts.

gugulYou will be eligible to answer my question, when you tested your phone. If it does not require 5-10 min to boot up the phone when battery die, then you got no right to answer. But if it take 5-10 min to boot up or even more, then you are eligible to answer the question. It does not matter 1 hour or 5 min, like I say every phone I used before don't have this kind of issue. This ROG 3 have the latest technology, that why I think this is an issue.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/142959#Comment_142959
I'm not an Asus staff for sure. But as I have the device currently in use, I just thought that I was eligible to answer this thing. Well This is my 10th device and if I talk about facing this thing in my previous devices, let me just tell you, I don't take my device that low. But a couple of times I had to and 7 out of 9 devices booted up after 5min. So I think that's a pretty normal behaviour.
The post of the other guy was serious because in his case it booted up after 1 hour. So there's a difference in between one hour and 10mins.
You need to check the frequency of occurrence too. A one time occurence doesn't make it a bug or a problem. Repeated occurence does.
Anyways If it bothers you then definitely it's an issue for you and I hope mods will clarify this ASAP.

Edmund CPNI don't care the slightest about your lack of understanding how electronics work. ASUS went out of their way to ensure you cannot do dumb idiotic things to ruin the battery such as trying to jumpstart a phone at extremely low capacity. It also prevents things like this:https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/143038#Comment_143038

I'm not here to argue with you guys, it is pointless. Why don't you test your phone and tell me how long does it take to boot up when battery die at 0%.
