Edmund CPNMan that's not even an issue. It takes some time for the battery to reach a minimum potential where it could power the display. It's like written in manual of every device. It is always recommend not to let the battery die deliberately. Don't go lower than 5%. It's harmful for the battery. And talking about the red light blinking, it means the device is working and the battery is getting charged. It'll be a Matter of worry, if it doesn't start blinking. So, just chill out mate. Please tell us some basic information before asking for help:
- Model Name: ROG Phone 3 Strix
- Firmware Version: 17.0823.2012.122
- Rooted or not: Not Rooted
- Frequency of Occurrence: First time
- APP Name & APP Version (If your issue relates to the app):
In addition to information above, please also provide as much details as you can, e.g., using scenario, what troubleshooting you've already done, screenshot, etc.

I saw some post about rog phone battery die at 0% will cause the phone not about to boot up after plug in the charger and the phone will blink red light repeatedly. So I want to test my ROG Phone 3 and I let the battery die at 0%, then I plug in the charger but my phone is not boot to the charging screen, my rog phone 3 just keep blink red light around 10min. After 10min only able to boot to the charging screen.
I hope everyone who saw this post do this test on your phone and post your result here.
For ASUS, I hope you give a very good explanation about this issue, because I saw you just ignore the user who have this issue. This issue clearly is not normal, please reply ASAP.

Edmund CPNI'm not an Asus staff for sure. But as I have the device currently in use, I just thought that I was eligible to answer this thing. Well This is my 10th device and if I talk about facing this thing in my previous devices, let me just tell you, I don't take my device that low. But a couple of times I had to and 7 out of 9 devices booted up after 5min. So I think that's a pretty normal behaviour.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/142954#Comment_142954
First of all, you are not the ASUS staff and that's just your opinion. I know need take some time to power the display, but it does not take around 10 min to power on the screen and see it is charging and the battery is 0%. When battery die, normally you just plug in the charger, and the phone will immediately boot to the charging screen and it will show "charging at 0%". I don't know how many phone you use before, but every phone I use all work like this. If you telling me it is normal to wait 10min to see the screen when my phone battery die, ASUS has some serious problem when develop this phone.
By the way, please click the link and see the other guy with the same issue. Please do let me know many phone do you used before and what phone are you using right now.
