AdminASUS today announced that the latest Android 12 upgrade will be available for the ZenFone 8 series commencing in December, 2021. This will be followed by upgrades for the ROG Phone 5 and 5s series in the first quarter of 2022. The upgrades for the Zenfone 7 series and ROG Phone 3 series are expected during the first half of 2022.
This update inherits the major functional changes introduced in the official version of Android 12, as well as continuing the popular ASUS battery- and performance-management features. For Zenfone models, it also includes ZenUI-specific changes that allow easier navigation, streamlined control panels, increased visibility for better control and more customization options.
ASUS has already recruited Zenfone 8 users for the Android 12 beta testing program. The beta program will help identify and fix bugs based on real user experiences before the final software is rolled out in December.

ayazBut will they do that ? Nah, One plus fixed it, Pixel fixed it but nah Asus won't do that, you will never be satisfied watching video on this phone even having on the best 10 bit display. Nowadays I just open my laptop to watch movies or series. I kinda regret getting 256GB variant because I got higher variant to watch such on this mobile only.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/191323#Comment_191323
Not wrong of them really to ask for a fix thats affecting all devices when it promises the best of everything.
To be fair, there should be an option to turn off the colour correction that's causing all of this. That would be a simple solution without the political luggage / hassle.

Jesp.rsame here, I'm really excited for A12, as it provides so much new stuff in terms of optimizations and new useful features like selecting audio sources.Very good news. Ever since they announced A11 on ROG2, I knew our ROG3 would have A12, and now they have officially confirmed it. This is great news. Very nice move Asus.
