Hi all!
So I've been using my laptop, an ASUS TUF F15 FX506HC for two years and wanted to change the thermal paste. but when I read the user repair guide it says:
- THERMAL MODULE Location:[VRAM/CHOKE/MOS] Material: FCR-AS Grease
- MB Location:[GPU/CPU] Material: TH PAD PTM7958)
Should I replace it? People have said the PTM7950 doesn't have to be replaced once installed. I am assuming the PTM7958 is an improvement from the PTM7958
Can anyone confirm? I don't want to waste my time and energy as the computer does not overheat or anything, it is just because it's been 2 years. Kind of like an oil change in a car

@Kresna113
From our standpoint, we do not recommend replacing it yourself.
If you need to replace the thermal paste, we suggest that you send the laptop to the service center for replacement.
The following is the contact information:

Also you can contact the local service center for help.

Oh I did not know these existed
Do you take a 9 year old laptop for service as well?
