Hello, I have this older phone, an Asus Zenfone 3 that I don't use anymore. Now I want to start using it again as a second phone.
So it hasn't been used since 2019. Today I put the phone to charged, waited 2 hours and nothing. I have thought it was the charger, changed it left for an hour and the I wanted to start it by pressing the power button but it didn't turn on.
I tried pressing the volume down button and then hold power, but again nothing.
I tried both this methods with the charger plugged in and out.
So I connected it to the PC. I heard the device connected notification but there was no phone detected in "File Explorer". However, in "Device Manager" under the other devices tab appears "QUSB_BULK". From there I can't do much, tried updating the drivers thinking it is going to work but it does not find anything online.
From this, can I repair it, without replacing parts or disassemble it. I don't need to recover files from the phone, I just want it to work, I would've factory reset it anyway.
I also have to mention that I tried searching the internet for a solution but I did not find anything to help me.

Unfortunately, if the computer cannot detect the phone, it is likely that the phone's motherboard or sub-board is malfunctioning. Since this is an older model, we do not recommend further repairs. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
