So where to start. Looks like this issue isnt just effecting this model but others as well. But in my case the ET8. Heres where I have done to try to resolve this issue. Its obviously a firmware issue. Router is sending out 6E the node IS NOT.
1. Firmware updated to latest on Router and Node.
2. Factory Reset Router and Node
3. Node is HARD WIRED to Router
4. Radio is ON on router and node for 6e.
5. Bind the device to node, but then my 6e device no longer connects to network.
6. Factory reset both router AND node and swapped their locations but same hardwired configuration. Meaning, router became node and node became router. Again only the router sent out the 6e signal not the node.
I honestly cant think of anything else. Support is NOT helpful and need to get this firmware issue escalated. Its apparent other models are having the same issue as well. ASUS needs to fix the firmware.
I smell a lawsuit happening since ASUS is playing blind on this widespread issue. At this point all I have is a overpriced 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz Mesh Setup when I should also have 6E as well.

Hi, you mentioned "5. Bind the device to node"
Should I understand that you bonded the router to node? or you bonded some wireless device to the node?
Monday
Bounded the wireless device to the node. Once I do that. The wireless device loses all connectivity to wifi.

OK, what kind of device it is?

Pixel 9 Pro XL and attempted the laptop. Both get same fates.

I'm sorry, but obviously I can't help.
I was thinking on Apple devices which can change own MAC address for greater user anonymity
