ProArt X670E-Creator WIFI AMD 7950X with 4 x 48GB ram

Hello,

I purchased this motherboard in May and installed 2 x 48GB RAM into the system. While this month I bought another 2 x 48GB RAM which is the same model and speed and tried to install them to form 192GB  totally.

I found that the Windows can only say I got 128GB instead of 192GB RAM, and seems like the speed is a bit lower as 3600 rather than those mentioned on the package box of the RAM as 5000.

How can I resolve this, and should I update my BIOS to see if the system can see all 192GB RAM, how can I get a higher speed by setting up some of the parameters in the BIOS UI?

Installing memory modules from different kits can cause instability.
We recommend that you refer to the ProArt X670E-CREATOR WIFI memory QVL to ensure the installed module is listed, and refer to the purchasing and installation guide on the same page as follows:

Ensure that all memory modules are from the same validated memory kit. Do not mix DIMMs from different memory kits—even if they are the same brand and model (e.g., two DIMMs each from two different memory kits). Mixing and matching DIMMs can result in a failure to boot and compatibility issues. In particular, the stability of a system with mixed DIMMs cannot be guaranteed when XMP (Intel)/D.O.C.P (AMD)/EXPO (AMD)/AEMP/AEMPII is enabled. For example, enabling XMP (Intel)/D.O.C.P (AMD)/EXPO (AMD)/AEMP/AEMPII to speeds above DDR5 4800MHz or above DDR4 3200MHz could result in an unstable system.

Regarding memory overclocking settings, they can be affected by the motherboard and memory specs, CPU, and PSU.
The motherboard slot used for installation can also have an impact, so please refer to the user manual for recommended installation.
