Hi
I'm planning on building a new PC. I have been looking into Prime Z790-P (V2) motherboard. I understand that it can support Intel I7-14700K processor - but it might require a BIOS update.
My question is how do I do an update if I only have the I7-14700K processor? Will it even start?

Hello, @psx
According to the PRIME Z790-P CPU QVL, the i7-14700K requires a BIOS update to version 1205 and later.
Generally, older BIOS versions shouldn't prevent booting and starting up.
You can install the CPU and then refer to [Motherboard/Desktop] ASUS EZ Flash 3 - Introduction for guidance on further BIOS updates.
If you encounter any issues or have questions about updating BIOS or operating, please refer to the user manual or BIOS Manual, and feel free to message me anytime if needed.
Thank you.
