In the UEFI/BIOS of my "Prime X670E-PRO WiFi [CSM]" motherboard, there is an option under 'Advanced' titled "NB Options". First, I don't understand what the acronym "NB" stands for. Second, it seems as if one can choose which video port (motherboard or PCIe video card) the BIOS logo and BIOS/UEFI screen content come out of.
Since I want the BIOS and its logo appear on the PCIe video card (an ASUS RTX-4080) and use the motherboard's HDMI connector as a backup, if no graphics card is present, I set the two settings there to "Primary Video Device: PCIe Device" and "Integrated Graphics: Auto". I thought this would then work as expected, but the BIOS only comes out of the motherboard's HDMI socket. The BIOS version is '1636', which seems to be the latest.
If I change the "Integrated Graphics" to "Disabled" I fear there won't be any recovery method other than clearing the CMOS?

Hello, @LH790
Regarding BIOS settings, please refer to the AMD AM5 Series BIOS Manual rather than the User’s Manual.
The difference between the two is that the former provides information about BIOS settings, updates, and guidance, while the latter focuses on hardware specifications and installation instructions.
Regarding your description, when using the IGPU and connecting the monitor directly to the motherboard using a DP cable, you can correctly access the BIOS. However, when installing the RTX4080 and connecting the monitor to the GPU via HDMI, you are unable to access the BIOS and instead go straight into the OS. Is this the case?
I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "if there is no monitor plugged into the motherboard that the BIOS comes out on the GPU." Could you please clarify how the BIOS is displayed when there's no monitor connected?
Since the latest BIOS version was released on 8/28 as version 1654, we would recommend updating the BIOS and performing a clear CMOS before confirming if it is able to access the BIOS when the monitor is connected via HDMI to the GPU.
Thank you.
