Hi
i have a pic I bought that has the gaming z490 plus motherboard. I was playing a game on New Year’s Day and it shut down suddenly. It tried to reboot but didn’t even wake the monitors up. I removed the gas card and tried the integrated video and it did the same. None of the qled light come on. I removed both sticks of ram to see if the ram qleds would light but it didn’t.
I don’t have components to try and swap in other than trying a different pay I have. Same problem.
does this sound like the motherboard has failed?
thanks.

Hello @RabbitStu
Thank you for reaching out to us. Due to the local holidays, our response time may be slightly delayed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
Regarding the situation you described, where the system unexpectedly shuts down during use and is unable to power back on, aside from ensuring the power outlet remains securely connected, could you let us know if the system is able to reboot after being left for a period of time?
We recommend referring to the [Motherboard] Troubleshooting - No Power/No Boot/No Display guide for further assistance and also clearing CMOS if needed.
If necessary, please consider gradually removing external devices, SSDs, HDDs, and the GPU (if your CPU supports integrated graphics) to isolate any potential hardware issues.
Thank you.

Hi
Tanks for getting back to me. Understandable with local holidays. The problem persists even if powered off for days. I will try and go through that list when I get chance. I have already tried some of it. Gfx card removed trying to use integrated gfx. Memory removed. Differed psu. There is some power as the rgb LEDs light up on the mother board.
thanks
