Asus Pro WS680-ACE doesn't recognize PCIe SATA expansion card w Asmedia 1166 chipset

I have Asus Pro WS680-ACE (with Intel Core i7-13700K processor, Windows 11 Pro) and it doesn't want to recognize StarTech PCIe 3.0 6-port SATA expansion card and HDDs attached to the card. The PCIe card has Asmedia 1166 chipset. According to the StarTech tech support, there are no drivers available, and PCIe card should work as plug-and-play. StarTech claims that there is incompatibility between the PCIe card and this new Asus motherboard and there is nothing that they could do.

The StarTech PCIe 3.0 6-port SATA expansion card works out of box and recognizes the card and all attached HDDs, without a need of any driver  in the older systems, e.g. Asus H87M-PRO motherboard with Intel 4th gen processors and Windows 10 Home. It's really plug-and -play.

However, it seems the PCIe with Asmedia 1166 chipset just doesn't want to work with new motherboards with 13th gen Intel processors.

Does anyone know how to either

1.  get the recent Asmedia 1166 SATA controller/driver (or firmware) to install it manually, or

2. to make the PCIe 3.0 SATA card with Asmedia 1166 chipset and attached HDDs be seen by the new motherboard?
