I am considering purchasing the ASUS VT168HR touchscreen monitor to use with a Raspberry Pi 5, and I would like to confirm if the touch functionality will work properly.
I know the HDMI video output will work, but my main concern is whether the touchscreen will function correctly on Raspberry Pi OS (Linux). Specifically, I would like to know:
- Does the touch input work when connected via USB?
- Does the monitor use a standard HID-compliant driver that is recognized by Linux?
- Has anyone successfully tested this monitor with a Raspberry Pi (any version)?
- Are there any additional drivers or configurations needed for touch to work?
