Hi,
I have just purchased a new Asus ProArt PA279CRV monitor.
The monitor is connected to the laptop (Lenovo Legion 5 with nvidia RTX 3070) via USB-C/DP port as a second screen. I have also connected mouse and keybord to monitor's USBs. When I plug in monitor to USB-C/DP port, both of the screens are on and everything works great. However, when I wake the computer (either by moving mouse or by keyboard) after being in sleep mode, laptop turns on as well as laptop screen, mouse and keyboard works ok, but the monitor will not wake up. If I disconnect USB cable from the monitor, and reconnect, then the screen reappears normally.
Some things I have tried:
- In Device Manager for Mouse and Keyboard, under Properties->Power Management I have checked "Allow this device to wake the computer"
- In monitor settings I have unchecked Deep Sleep
- In Device Manager I turned off "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" for all USBs
- In Power Management I disabled PCI Express - Link State Power Management
- Updated the drivers
- Tried replacing USB-C kable
None of these worked. Any ideas on how to fix this?
